2014.

Wow, what is this thing I'm typing on... and what in the world is this strange "typing" concept? For the first time since I discovered computers and technology and all the magic it brings, I went a straight week without opening my laptop. Holy unprecedented records. The battery drained to the death, and I didn't even give two hoots! Talk about new year, new me.

I have been following most of your blogs on the Bloglovin app on my phone (but I half hate it because it's so hard to comment using that). One huge takeaway point from all of the recaps of 2013 and resolutions for 2014 that I've read is how incredibly special it is that we get to share all of our ups and downs and in-betweens with each other. There are so many life stories being written in this little bloggity world, and we are all bearing witness to it. Isn't that so wonderful?

Europe has been all kinds of wonderful. It was a whirlwind of a week traipsing through London, Rome, and Paris (don't worry, even I hate myself a little bit). Today, my family is going back to the USA and I'll be on my way to Oxford, officially starting my study abroad experience.

Once I've sorted through all 2,600+ photos, I'll be bombarding you with Europe posts, so stay tuned! Hope your 2014 is off to an amazing start.
