Start of Something New

Welcome to my blog! 

Let's get one thing straight: I'm a commitment-phobe. I'm like a boy when it comes to commitment. I scream and run the other way or cover my ears and belt Adele songs very off-key to avoid committing to things. It's bad, I know.

This is definitely not the first time I've started a blog. There are more than few blank ones running around cyberspace that belong to me. I've actually maintained a couple for a few months, but then one-thing-or-another would happen and it would go down the drain.

Point is, I've had blogs before and having a blog was always a really fun thing for me. It was cathartic and cool to look back on and it basically made me feel really powerful because I owned 0.0000484358 of the Internet (or not). And after not having a public blog for the first third of my freshman year of college, I realized that I have missed documenting my life and having my friends read about it.

So for try #834757493: this time, I'm going to write solely for myself (okay, and my friends and my family and perhaps other people in the future I'm just going to stop talking now kthxbye). I'm also going to relieve myself of the pressure of trying to update on a set schedule. I want to really enjoy blogging instead of thinking of it as a burden. 

Anyways, this has been significantly long and boring. Hopefully, this is the start of something really great!
